Flexo & Rotogravure Reglass

Printers are always in search of machines with higher output and better printing quality. For this reason the use of carbon fibre mandrels in flexo printing has become essential in case of great spans or reduced clichè sizes (thus mandrels with small diameter) to increase speed or in case of bounce problems with particulary difficult clichès.

The carbon fiber rollers and mandrels are a good answer to all these growing needs and are going to be used more and more in the next years.

Printing quality and speed

Reglass can propose carbon rollers with different elastic modules and as consequences different stiffness depending on the type of fibre used. Based on the printing requirements and the plant value, there are several possible options for rollers. From stiffness similar to steel but with a much lower weight, to rollers with stiffness up to 1.5 times of steel with a 3 to 5 times lower weight of the whole mandrel, combined with exceptional printing quality. Of course the highest printing quality and speed can be achieved with more rigid mandrels but if the interests is focused on the speed, the goal can be reached with more economical rollers with lower stiffness.

Our production offer

For flexo printing and rotogravure machines Reglass builds all kind of rollers and can offer:

  1. Cliché Rollers

  2. Air Carrier

  3. Anilox Rollers

They receive ink from the reservoir through the blade, transferring it to the stereotype in a uniform manner. Normally they are subjected to a complex exchange of stresses, triggered by the vibrations of the stereotype cylinder. Thanks to Reglass technology these are greatly reduced, thereby avoiding repercussions in the distribution of the ink, with the added advantage of lower wear and tear. Reglass produces anilox rollers which, together with clichè rollers, enable unsurpassed performance in flexographic printing.

  4. Guiding Rollers
